This ladder is the best thing after sliced bread! I like that and the easy up and easy release feature but mind your hands and lower yourself by first holding the top bars and then carefully lowering them onto the bottom bars. This item is more expensive than the much cheaper fakes, but do you really want to trust an inferior ladder for your safety? I'm glad I spent the extra money on this product. Great item for my camper on the road as I don't have a ladder attached and it's so compact I can easily take it with me. I also use it around the house in place of my heavy, clunky old wooden ladder.
