Review on πŸ’» Renewed Apple iPhone 12 Mini, 64GB in (Product)Red for AT&T by Taufik Opekg ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's the best purchase I ever made, I will definitely do it again.

As Apple has a history of releasing "shovel phones," I have been impatiently awaiting the arrival of this version without upgrading from 8. With Touch ID being rejected, it appeared that all that was needed to create a smartphone with optimal dimensions, like with the 12 mini, was to eliminate the bottom frame and shorten the top one. Another benefit was that the rounded edges of the older models prevented the phones from standing, and even when shooting without a case, they constantly threatened to slip out of your hands. This made it difficult to take selfies from a distance or to lean against a window for a better signal. Although the screen got brighter and the colors were more intense, in general I was happy with LCD screens. Of course, the camera is much better now than it was in the 8 and even X generations. The night mode is simply great; photographs shot from the same angle on the X and 12 mini show a clear difference. Everyone is annoyed by the battery capacity, but compared to the 8, there is an increase (1821 versus 2227 mAh): for a day of intensive usage (Internet, social networks), it is more than sufficient, with 20 to 30 percent of the charge remaining by evening. The paint on the side faces quickly peels off, but the edges are not so sharp as to cut themselves – a flaw I carefully paid attention to when purchasing exhibition samples from one of the authorized Apple sellers: this defect was not apparent on any of them. Additionally, they claimed that even with careful handling, very delicate glass is easily scratched. However, if you carefully carry it in your pocket with your keys, it's possible that I experienced no scratches at all after a week of use. Face ID is highly quick, catches on the go, and has a 99.5% identification rate (sometimes it still asks for a password). For certain identification, a mask that is dropped below the level of the nose is sufficient. I used to be against Face ID, but I now have to confess that it makes unlocking the smartphone quicker and eliminates the need to touch the device repeatedly to view the alerts, which are now only visible to the owner. I generally advise everyone.
