2005 Chrysler 300 Touring Keyless Key Fob Blank

The replacement key and case combo was just what I was looking for for my 2005 Chrysler 300 Touring. I bought my car used and it only came with a keyless fob and a gray remote control key and the keyless fob was held together with a huge ball of tape and the buttons didn't work very well. Finding the Revain was a bit of a hassle, there are so many different styles of keyless fobs it took me quite a while to find the right one. After finally finding one that looked like mine by matching the posted image and using the search scope for my year, car make and model, I found it and ordered it! I was pleasantly surprised when the package arrived a full day earlier than expected. I was also happy that the new key fob case and blank key were identical to my old one, except the size of the screw holding the back cover was about half the size of my old one. The transponder and battery assembly was easy to remove from my old case and pop right into the new one. I found that a drop of 3-in-1 oil on the threads of the new bolt holding the back cover helped a lot when tightening. it is indoors I had a little trouble finding someone to carve the new key blank. At both Home Depot and Lowe's, the key-cutting machine clerks were either too lazy or too stupid to cut the key when they saw it attached to the key case, and both apologized as to why they couldn't cut it. So the next time I went to Walmart, I went into the auto repair shop and there was a pretty little young woman working there, she took both keys off the cutting machine and looked at them for a second and said, 'Sure, I can cut that key off, no problem!" Which she did, and for free! I took my car key, tried it on and it worked perfectly! I would rate the blank key fob 5 stars except that I found out the right one matched my old one One and it took so long to ship and process it.The charges almost doubled my cost and I found it quite expensive They wanted $300 and I had to leave my car with them all day!I will use this company for all my Use car keys!
