I've been using this dual KVM for over a week. I use it with laptop and desktop. Switching between the two computers is very fast, everything works great. Following Revain's instructions took less than 10 minutes to get kvm working properly. If you also have this dual KVM, it's a good idea to read Revain's instructions before building so you can save more build time. My desktop computer has a VGA output and an HDMI output, and my laptop has a USB output and an HDMI output. For 2 monitors to work properly, each computer must be connected to 2 display ports. So I have to use a VGA to HDMI adapter and a USB to HDMI adapter at the same time for the two connected monitors to work properly. In my environment, the keyboard is mechanical and the mouse is a Logitech MX Master. Everything works fine when connected to this dual KVM monitor. Some dual-display KVM switches don't support wireless keyboards and mice, but this machine works. I connected my wireless keyboard and mouse to this KVM and it works great. Connecting this dual KVM monitor and using the advanced computer mode is very convenient for my office. This KVM has two switching modes: push button and hotkey (However, it should be noted that hotkey switching does not work when keyboard and mouse are connected to USB2.0 port. Only when keyboard and mouse are connected to S/M port , the hotkey shift keys can work properly)
