I only have had this for one day but it was sturdy enough to hold a 240 lbs guy with no issues. We used it on a hammock stand we got at Lowe's so it is great. No other items needed for it to work. You also get those two screw pegs if you are going to hang your hammock but want it secured in wood.

Pros

Great chains. Sturdy.

Cons

The grey color of the chain may not match well with some outdoor decor or furnishings
