After so many tries that I can't remember, these XXXS dog shoes fit my 6 lb mini dachshund with IVDD. She wobbles when she walks due to a back injury that causes her hind legs to drag a bit. On concrete, their little paws are rubbed to the bone and their claws worn to the bone. Now that she can walk, she refuses to use a wheelchair and wants to keep up with her older sister on walks. The bottom of the shoe is made of high quality rubber, more like running shoes. The zip allows for quick on and off, while the zip allows them to be tightened to stay in place. Also, they are cute! It won't look like snowshoes (at least not here in Wisconsin). They would protect against salt and would probably be good in hot climates when the pavement is too hot.
