An excellent choice for multiple connection scenarios

You have to keep in mind that there are two types of SMA connectors: Most "lab" devices use "regular" SMA connectors (one pin is socket), while most consumer devices like WiFi routers use "reverse" SMA, where the contact is on the male end.
