I like the German brand Persil MegaPerl. The American version of Persil that you now see in grocery stores and at Walmart is NOT the same as the German detergent. This cleanser lasts a long time on me. My laundry is CLEAN and doesn't fade. You don't need much to do a good job. I use both universal and colored Megapearl. I love the fresh scent. If the smell seems too strong, you may be using too much detergent - also try white vinegar in a conditioner jar instead of a scented conditioner. Persil is worth the money - if used correctly, your stock will last!
