We followed the written instructions EXACTLY as described and mixed the mixture for exactly 3 minutes as directed. The mixture was supposed to be purple to pour into the bucket and turn blue as it dried, but it was clumpy blue even before we finished mixing and never settled in the bucket as intended. We used warm water, I would recommend mixing step 1 with cold water as this can help keep it from turning blue when mixed, or continue beating the full 3 minutes as instructed. But even if the mixture did solidify as intended, my son's hand would not be completely covered and it would only be a cast of half his hand. He was very disappointed and I feel cheated because not working was an expensive purchase. Customer service was unhelpful and did not return or replace the item. I would not recommend purchasing this item.
