RATING DOWN. Update 2018: SUDDENLY GOOD AND PRACTICAL

*****UPDATE 2018 -1 year after purchase: PRODUCT PAUSES TIMES DURING ANY STYLE REPRESENTATION. THE IPOD CONNECTION WILL BE INCONSISTENT (a feature I loved) and NOT ALL VIDEO FORMATS ARE SUPPORTED BUT THIS IS SOMETHING I DISCOVERED LATER. DOWNLOADED TO 3 STARS**** Okay please bear with me as this is my entire painful experience. This is my 4th ECU that I've bought for my car as the other 3 didn't live up to my expectations one way or another. My first purchase was a $300 Android head unit. It had all the great features, but then I realized why the heck would I need a Wi-Fi/3G/4G module for my Camry with such a high-end smartphone in my pocket. Despite the high price, it had broken USB ports, no iPod support (which was a must for me). Well I'm not very happy with it and as it wasn't great value I returned it. Then I bought my second device from Ouku. As soon as I pocketed it, I knew I would get it back. looked super cheap and the DAC was dead on it. The sound quality was crap. My 3rd device was $260 (not Android) but had a resistive screen and the system was written by a student. Sound quality was good and again there was no iPod support. Music is only played from SD/USB. It was basically far from my expectations. He is back. I saw this unit (with Prime being the only credible brand) with no reviews but it was the cheapest I've seen on ebay/amazon. I thought let's give it a try (by this point I had mastered installing these devices in my car and with a good return policy I decided to give this cheap thing a try). It came in 2 days and I opened the box. think that this could be another cheap device, most likely not working for one criterion or another. Well when I pulled it out of the lid I was surprised. it looked just as good as the $300 unit I first bought. came with a remote control but no microphone (the microphone on the device is perfect so I don't need it) :( or a rear camera :( . but I think it's ok. When I installed it on my car my surprises ended Never Let's start: 1. Capacitive screen 2. Very good sound quality 3. Apps for playing music, videos and Bluetooth are top notch (promises it's not a 3G device) it works I connected my iPhone 7 to to see if it charged or not (I didn't even remotely think it would recognize songs) INSTANTLY FROM THE PHONE It was huge for me (none of the older devices were capable of that) and boy did the iPod Site looks AWESOME. I never expected it to do this EVER and it killed it. It was the best and most handy feature in coo consistent with my needs. The only cons, I couldn't figure out how to change the background and panel lighting changes, but I'd take it any day given the other cool feature. Trip. Now it is not even considered. Hope it lasts a long time and doesn't break for a few months. Another thing might be the lack of a DVR feature, which I would really like to have. BUT I would definitely recommend it for the price and quality. He has processed everything under the sun that he promises. BEST VALUE. Add another $10 for a rear camera if needed. It's still the cheapest and BEST! Well done China! I will post photos soon.
