After installing the washing machine in the basement, we needed a sewer pump to pump it to the first floor into the septic tank. A local plumber advised us a station that was installed in his house. This is SANIVITE from SFA, a compact, quiet unit. Now only one input is used, there are no smells, but I immediately ordered a filter when buying a pump to be sure that there will be no smell, because the basement is poorly ventilated. It's been up and running for 4 years now. In 2022 (a couple of months ago) I changed this carbon filter to a new one. I never cleaned the pump, I was warned that if only the washing machine and there is no strong smell, if the pump works WITHOUT a filter, then it is not necessary to clean it.
