I almost wanted to return this product as I felt I needed something more durable, but after trying it we decided to keep it. Its propeller jet is powerful enough to be painful to the touch and fast enough to froth milk for a latte. We also use it to mix our powdered energy drinks. The fact that you have to hold down the switch for it to work gives you more control over the rotation, and if your milk is in a smaller cup you can stop it just in time before it spills (or you can pull it out , but it can still cause a mess). I've made a delicious chai latte with this device so it's a great buy for the price.
