Easy install but proprietary software crashes with Vista

Details: Another decent offering from Netgear. I bought it as an upgrade for my mother's computer. It is digitally illiterate, so ease of use was a key factor in choosing this device. It is used on a Windows Vista machine. Proprietary wireless management software conflicted with Vista's wireless management software, resulting in poor connection quality due to frequent signal dropouts and the need for constant manual reconnection. After reinstalling the Netgear software and reconfiguring it twice, I simply uninstalled the built-in Vista software and used it to manage the connection and haven't had any issues since. Summary: If you're using Windows Vista, it's easy to install and use, but only if you're not using Netgear's wireless management software.
