These connectors provide welcome relief from the stress associated with installing wire nuts correctly, only to discover a wire is not properly fastened is . If you pull *hard* on the cable while rotating it, it will pop out of the connector, meaning you can disconnect and reassemble if needed. They work on stranded wire, but vice versa. only if you tin the wire beforehand. It's actually not that heavy and it will really stop wearing out.
