Review on Logitech M590 Multi-Device Silent Mouse by Ghazanfar Ali ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

I can’t evaluate the accuracy and latency for gaming purposes, it’s not my area. The games are mostly calm, so this mouse was enough for me. A couple of times I used the ability to switch between computers, it was funny and saved the situation (you take out the whistle from the mouse, put it in the right device and work alternately either on your beech or on a TV with a presentation, for example), but this functionality did not find particularly wide application for me . Just as the ability to copy data between two computers did not find application - I used it exactly once, when I just unpacked the mouse :) In general, the device is very pleasant - quiet (and this is really a huge advantage), with the layout of additional buttons that has already become traditional (two under the thumb, three on the wheel), quite reliable and with a couple of chips that are unlikely to be used constantly, but sometimes they can help.

Pros
  • - Quiet. In fact, after it, the rest of the mice are terribly loud. - In addition to connecting via Bluetooth, he wears a USB whistle in his belly (which allows you to switch between two devices on the fly). - Works on any surface with rare exceptions. - In a year and a half of operation, the battery was changed only once.
Cons
  • - Although power saving is a huge plus, the frequent falling asleep of the mouse is annoying. Maybe I didn’t find any settings, and the period before falling asleep can be increased, but so far it’s not uncommon for a situation when, when editing a document, you poke the mouse into the right sentence, edit for a couple of minutes, grab the mouse, and the cursor wakes up for a couple more seconds. In general, when working, it does not interfere much, but with certain types of work it starts to enrage. - After about a year of life, the rubber on the body of the mouse swelled and in some places got out of the plastic recesses (a similar problem has long been known to owners of lenses with rubber control rings). Sounds scarier than it looks, but unpleasant. - The grip is sometimes uncomfortable. When I need to lift the mouse above the surface a little more than a couple of centimeters, it constantly falls out of my hand, although my palm is quite small. - After a year and a half of work, the left button failed. I worked quite a lot and played a lot, so I did a couple of million clicks, I think.

The mouse turned out to be pleasant, and works well overall. But as mentioned earlier, there are indeed problems with the signal. I have a distance of about 2 meters between the mouse and the receiver and the mouse does not work as well as we would like, but overall it is not bad. Although it will be impossible to play shooting games.
