the lid feels flimsy and the cutting edges are the sharpest
This was a steal at $18, but once I started using it, I immediately noticed that the thin die insert wasn't as sharp as mine previous Fullstar model. It was also more difficult to clean than the Fullstar, but I don't know why. It seemed that the bits of food just don't wash off the blade, maybe because it's not that sharp? I also had trouble scooping chunks of veg out of the top/lid of the grate; Again, it's easier to do this in the Fullstar model. The lid feels flimsy and quite thin. The rubber feet on the basket were ok, didn't slip.
