Good device with a small minus!
Does what it's supposed to do, easy installation, good range, the downside as mentioned is the need to manually reconnect every time the device is powered off. Example: You park/stop the boat and turn off the engine and connect the key to the accessory that turns it off and you have to reconnect it. I suppose you could hook it up to a constant power supply, but I'm not sure that's a good idea.
