Review on 🌊 Efficient Surface Skimmer: Eheim 7738 Ensures Crystal Clear Aquarium Water by Brandy Young

I needed to remove this foam from the water surface of my aquarium and this product did the trick. I bought it to work with an EHEIM 2215 canister filter and it works great, but I had to get a 1/2" to 1/2" notched nylon tee from a local hardware store ($1.99) and buy a 12" 1/2 in. 2" pipe. (Check your hose size, some people with large canisters may need a 5/8" to 1/2" tee.) The tee reduces the suction power of the extractor so it doesn't gurgle or squeeze. All you really need with this device is minimal suction to remove the scum from the water surface. I found the product to be well made, solid and had no problems installing it of the device.I have seen cheaper items on the web but I have doubts about the durability.I feel that this item is worth the extra money for its durability and simple technical design.
