Not the best quality but still suitable for some

This sketchbook is very cute but not ideal for those who use pencils or crayons. If you're looking for a square sketchpad and quality is a priority for you, I'd go with a travel sketchbook instead. Also, some of the gold lines on the cover were smudged, when I got mine I put a sticker on it, but it was a bit annoying. blotchy unless you press hard). Another issue is that the softness of the paper causes the pencil and crayon to smear on the opposite side (I learned this the hard way). except things like sharp objects). This paper appears to be absorbent, so I'll be careful with your markers (they might run out a little, but soon). The paper doesn't scratch, which is an advantage. Although the paper is thick it can warp a bit under acrylic paint, I haven't used much watercolor but I think it will hold up fairly well.
