So I decided to make a set of 8 belt beads. I bought pearls. I'm a craftsman so I had threads and needles with big eyes but thin stems. I broke 6 pins and all my nails while doing half of 1. I was very frustrated. I went to the line and fought it. I'm not a bead specialist so I just gave it a try. Teresa needles saved my fingers! I knit 5 and 1/2 belt beads with just one needle. It's a bit bent in some places but holds on. Not sure about the reviews that said they had broken needles. I'm a little rough with mine. Pulls and pulls. It didn't break my thread either, but I can see how it could be. Where the thread sits is pretty sharp. I used cotton embroidery floss (one whole strand, no individual strands) and cheap beads.
