If you're looking to buy your first thermal panel, let me help you make the right choice. I bought 8 of these of different sizes and manufacturers and by far the Amaze thermal panels work the best. The 250 is by far my favorite due to its small size and great radiant heat. I had to leave it on the thermostat because it can really heat things up too much. I installed them on a temporary piece of panel to play with position and height and I can tell you that placing them near a doorway or thoroughfare encourages natural air circulation around the panel and aids the convection process. In addition, Amaze panels have the best end product for production. Others are a bit rough around the edges or not as stylish. Remember that thermal panels are not intended to serve as the only source of heat, but to provide comfort throughout the night, even now when temperatures are below 30 degrees at night. Turn them on a few hours before you start work, as it takes time for the ambient temperature to drop. The best thing for me is that they don't have a fan that blows dust all over the place and I didn't completely dry out because of that.
