I was really hoping to find a good alternative to PayPal as it's not my favorite company. I finally chose PayAnywhere because it was possible to sell some products and I really wanted to accept credit cards. It was the only card reader that I could buy discounted next-day shipping for with my Prime subscription, so I decided to give it a try. The Android app worked great on my Galaxy SIII. It even has a trial mode where you can try out all the features without setting up an account or having a reader. I really like the app and its inventory feature. I checked it again when I connected a real card reader. This also worked very well. I charged $1 each to two of my credit cards to test this and see how the charge went. Everything seemed to be working to my satisfaction, so the next day I tried real customers. I only sold a few pieces for $20 and made less than $200 in one day. I only used it for one day because I wanted to make sure the money was in my account within the stated 1-2 business days before continuing to use it. Good thing I thought so because it took me two weeks to find out that they had blocked my funds without notifying me and I had to contact them to have them removed. They never explained to me why there was a delay but in the end I got my money and decided I wouldn't use it again. Instead, I use PayPal Reader and the PayPal Here app because while they're not my favorite company, I feel like my chances of avoiding the hassles of PayPal are better, and I've never kept my money with them before. It's also worth noting that the ad for a $10 loan has fine print. Don't expect to get $10 credit to buy an e-reader, I didn't. I'll let my chat log speak about my experience with this company.
