Very soft and flexible for boots. However, the burr holding it in place seems strong enough to prevent the sleeve from being easily pulled off the connector. The softness also means it's easier to unclamp, which is a plus. Shielded CAT6 cables are VERY HERMETIC! CAT6e can be an issue. Normal CAT6 or lower should be fine. CAT6 unshielded (UTP) solid 23 AWG pictured.
