Owned for about 6 months. I had to drill two large 1 1/4" holes (you read that right) in the cinder block wall to access the plumbing to install the water softener. A concrete mallet weighed about half as much as a drill and cost almost as much. So I really put the thing to the test. I've used in several other projects as well. Hammerhead instruments are owned by the Chervon Corporation (Skil, Kobalt, Craftsman). For the money, they're as good as it gets. No ", this isn't Milwaukee or Dewalt. But 7.5 amp, variable speed really did the trick. I'm using it now to fasten wall tiles to the floor to complete a fairly large basement. I have no idea how it would run if i was a carpenter using this every day for my work but i do a lot of home projects for myself and also for friends and family even if this thing eventually breaks down it has g rewarded. It really has the power and strength I was looking for. Longevity is always something that remains to be seen. But for the money and the performance I give it five big stars.
