Review on Husky Liners 98951 Black Weatherbeater Front and Rear Floor Liners Suitable for 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab by Bob Candfield

The best products are the ones you take for granted because they just work.

I bought these to replace the factory heavy duty floor mats in my 2008 Tacoma after the stitching on the mats ripped. It's been raining and/or snowing for the past few weeks and I'm glad I replaced them. These floor mats are probably a lot thinner than the stock floor mats or any other floor mats you've used but fit very well (not ideal on the driver's side front door sill otherwise I'd give them 5 stars) and the lip to the edge is high enough to prevent rain/snow/coffee from getting on the carpet. The surface is shiny with very little bumps so you would think feet would slip but I haven't experienced this and I ride mechanically and shift a lot with snow on my boots. I haven't cleaned the mats yet, but it looks like this surface is easier to clean than the softer, ribbed surface on my previous mats. I also like how the mat fits behind the pedals and over the dead pedal without interfering with their movement. The rear mats fit perfectly and although my old ones were still in good condition I replaced them with Husky inserts because I like that they also cover the transmission tunnel. I can throw a wet towel or swim trunks on the front or back mats and not worry about ruining anything. Usually the purchase is satisfied after about 2 months of use. I understand they aren't cheap but I don't think they need to be replaced and it's a small investment over the life of the truck. To be honest I stopped thinking about her as soon as I got in the truck - that's good.
