Updated August 1, 2017. Updated April 05, 2017 I've encountered two instances where my iMac freezes completely. I don't normally turn off my Mac, but I've never turned it off, even when I only had 4GB. After browsing the forums. I will try reinstalling the ram sticks and swapping out the 2gb sticks. If that doesn't work I'll try to only use 4GB sticks, if it still doesn't work I'll return them. in advance. So far I am completely satisfied with the product. After a fairly easy install on my aging 21.5" iMac i5 Mid 2011 (4GB) I was amazed at the increase in performance. Adobe package, MS Office package and even search should be faster. After only 12 GB Upgrade Original - 2GB x 2 and Patriot - 4GB x 2 Definitely worth the price!
