Haven't had a chance to use this yet. I just bought it to see how it holds up with watercolor pencils. Because I used it on regular scrapbook paper and it deformed a lot. So I decided I needed something else. Mix materials, the paper is thicker and will stand up to watercolors and maybe even acrylics if you want to try. But if you want to try to transfer the sketch, do something mixed with it. I recommend a specific type of carbon paper, I have white carbon for black paper and black carbon for everything else. It works great and you don't have to worry about paper teeth removal due to abrasion.
