He does what he has to.
It seems to be of decent quality. The installation takes a few minutes. I've read a review or two that the handle with the washer attached is too wide to fit the toilet tank and either remove the washer or widen the hole in the toilet tank. This problem (at least in my case) was solved by first installing the gasket in the toilet tank, then slipping the handle through the gasket hole in the tank and tightening the supplied nut until snug. I hope this can help some frustrated people. A good product.
