I have tried MANY different brands of hydrocolloid dressings. Pros: They are very thin and stick well. I can often get up to 24 hours off a single patch, even with a face wash. You are cozy. Cons: They are very thin and don't absorb much if you have a lot of secretions. The outer surface of the patch has a slight sheen so it doesn't blend into the skin as smoothly as a more matte finish. MEHs: The price is good - not the best value I've come across, but decent for the functionality. Not very noticeable in photos (on a white face) but definitely visible in person. Bottom line: I probably won't buy them again, hoping they would be suitable for outdoor wear. I have another Korean brand that I'd rather stay home in, it's thicker/more absorbent. Ultimately, Clearisil patches are still the best I've found for outdoor use and under makeup, plus excellent absorbency and longevity. Clearisils are also still the most expensive patch I've tried. :/ I will still look for a brand that is more affordable and looks good on my skin during the day.
