Review on Getaria 5.8GHz Wireless Guitar System: Rechargeable Audio Transmitter & Receiver Set for Electric Guitar Bass by Charles Purnell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I tried 11 different wireless systems, UHF, 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz and this came in second.

This unit was the best 5.8GHz system I tried. Only Lekato 2.4Ghz WS-80 was better than this system. You can also see my review of this system on Revain where I explain why it was the best of the 11 systems. I'm leaving a 2.4GHz system and a 5.8GHz system in case of interference at the concert, so I'm leaving this one. All the UHF devices came back because none of them could hold a note like a wire. But that is exactly what Getaria GWS-26 does. It's a little quieter than wired, but the sound is so comparable to wired that I wouldn't have to adjust the sound settings if I had to switch from wireless to wired in the middle. tell you which channel is in use, but you need to long press the pairing buttons of the transmitter and receiver to switch channels. But the change is quiet and rapid. (With the Lekato WS-80, you just need to double-click the pairing button on the transmitter, so it's better for situations where you might need to turn on on the fly. The Getaria GWS-26 is more expensive than most wireless systems I've tried, but it is still a good price. And the dough lasts 8-10 hours! It was the best system I tried (the Lekato WS-80 had 8-9 hours), most others 4.5 hours, which is enough for a gig But we play an 8 hour show every year so the two systems I have will make it finish on that show too but because of the little things they didn't quite work (this and the Lekato WS-80) were excellent.

Pros
