practical semi-solid multi-purpose products. Has both advantages and disadvantages

I make a living cleaning my house (and sometimes my own, ha) and although I use products that are already around the house, I bring my own range. I will be keeping this as part of my cleaning kit because it takes up little space, can seem to be stored in cold or hot environments (I often keep cleaning supplies in my truck, in my work bag) and can be used for a variety of purposes. . cleaning activities. Non-toxic so safe to use around animals and seems safe to use on a variety of surfaces too. However, there are still some pros and cons to consider. In addition to the pluses listed above, I like: - Consistency. It is a smooth, hard, firm, creamy block of gel that becomes very foamy when agitated with a scrubbing brush or sponge. Add water and it will foam for a few days. Washes off well. No problem rinsing it and wiping it clean - cleans well. A basic detergent that doesn't need much to clean a large area - almost odorless. Everything that can be found is very weak, fresh and does not cause headaches. Cons: The included sponge is almost useless. Have your own sponges and washcloth or this one will tear. - Container. The lid is positioned high to accommodate the included sponge. I don't feel like putting a USED sponge on the cleaner when I'm done. Rough. Would rather see a lid on a lid. So a lid for cleaning supplies and then an extra compartment in the lid to hold your choice of sponge or scraper. Or not have at all. - Not a miracle worker. Even after the product has stood up I haven't noticed any significant improvement over other products I use. More testing may be needed to find out how to maximize efficiency. My attempts so far have included cleaning porous tubs and walls, old tile bathroom countertops, sinks, plumbing fixtures, toilets and kitchen countertops. For the bathtub and countertop I chose to use it and leave it as specified. Most of the positives come from the convenience of a solid formula. Because it REALLY cleans, which isn't much, and it can be used for multiple tasks. I tend to keep not just one in my professional cleaners (to use on-demand if someone runs out) but one in the upstairs bathroom where I don't want to clog my closets with cleaning supplies. I can do a lot with this little cleaner. Despite my list of pros and cons, I think this is a product worth trying. You can find more effective methods for purposes other than me.

Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
