I have had both a Hobot window cleaner and now a Leegee. I have to say that I appreciate this company for their innovation and willingness to do what other companies don't do. The build quality is excellent. The tracks are actually very important to this design. The vibrating suction foot makes it easier to lose traction, so using long chains completely solves this problem and provides excellent traction. It is very easy to set up and use. It's pretty quiet. Surprisingly, it has many customizable options: 5 spray settings, 5 vacuum power settings, 5 cleaning frequency settings, and 5 cleaning speed settings. It's nice to have so much control. The main criticism I have with this product is definitely that it cannot create no-go zones/barriers and/or auto-detect carpets. This is by far the biggest downside of this device and I'm desperately hoping they add it to the next generation if they can't do it with a software update. If you have a rug in the middle of a room with hardwood floors or tiles all around you can't be sure the Leegee won't get stuck, it will try to walk across the rug then get stuck and give an error message. If you have the door open and the Liji comes down from the threshold, he can't get back up. I think you understand how annoying this is. It's such a great device with such a big downside. It's funny because the laser navigation works great as the trunk avoids obstacles and clears efficiently; even better than vslam and liar because he sees the room in front of him and doesn't bump into it, you even see the map in the app, you just can't do anything with the map, that's the problem. You see that no-go areas for robots specifically designed to mope are more important than ever, because if you don't, the company willfully neglect and ignore everyone in a given situation. If you have a carpet you cannot clean this room. If the doors to rooms with carpet or thresholds are open, then before each cleaning you need to walk around the house and preliminary "protect yourself from robots". Hobot, please add the restricted area feature because I really love this product. But just like window cleaner I think for some reason you are so good at product design and when it comes to display and obstacle avoidance just say MEH. whatever it is is good enough. I really think if this company recognized this one downside the robot would immediately rise to the top for me which is a lot talked about because I have 2 roborocks, Roomba Brava Jet 240, Brava Jet M6 etc. One thing I like on this company how they do things their own way. I see a potentially bright future for this company, just for the love of God, fix the restricted area navigation! These things make or break a product for many people!
