- Excellent, almost no alternative super-wide for Canon crop. Previously, you could choose from Sigma 10-20, Tokin and Tamrons, or save up for Canon 10-22. Now they have all faded into the background. It's funny that Sigma dropped the price of their 10-20 to $300 after the release of the Canon 10-18, but only in the Canon version. For everyone else, it is at the old price))

- Easily catches light, use a lens hood. A raindrop on the glass - a lot of glare at once, longer lenses do not have this

- Like any over-width, it requires skill. You need to learn how to manage distortion and perspective distortion. Not suitable for all frames. Features of super-wide as a class of optics.

Pros

- Wide angle, don't fish, only the only lens from Sigma is wider - The stabilizer allows you to shoot at dusk without a tripod, and at night it helps to reduce ISO - Sharp from open, very sharp at F / 8. There is a slight drop in sharpness along the very edge, but where have you seen wide widths that are sharp all over the field for this money? - Lightweight, compact, convenient - The price is lower than competitors, in the second-hand version, just for nothing. People even buy Canon 10-18 specifically and put it on Sony through an adapter, because their native optics are too expensive. - Distortion acceptable, easy to correct

Cons

- Vignette in the corners. Noticeable, but not critical, corrected in the editor - The curvature of the field, sometimes smears with focus. This is not a problem with this particular lens, but rather with the class of optics and autofocus of the camera. - The design does not contribute to harsh operation - the lens is more for an amateur than a pro. This is exactly what the manufacturer claims. Specifically, with me, he calmly survived both rain and frost and dust and calmly travels in a bag without protection, so this is more of an external look than specific problems encountered. - From a distance it looks like a whale, so they won't be able to show off))
