Review on πŸ”ͺ Inching towards Precision: Angle Grinder Sanding Discs for Flawless Finishes by Todd Look

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I made it through the steps and I'm very happy!

So this isn't my first tool. My old one ended up being too tired and all the seals were out of order. I bought another one (paid about the same amount) and it literally lasted once. He grounded his hypoid gears in under 10 minutes. At least I could return it. It had good reviews and, based on my best observations, was identical to the "branded" device and cost twice as much. I took a risk I've had it for a few weeks now and am getting used to it every day. No problem! Have used it on everything from carbide abrasive pads to grinding wheels and wire wheels and it hasn't missed a beat. The 1/4 and 1/8 collets allow me to use a lot more bits than my old one, plus it uses some air for the same (or more) performance. I won't say it's quieter because that would be wrong. And one more thing - I like the variable speed. Pull the trigger slightly and it fires slowly. Push more and it will go faster. The drop in power is not sharp, only in revs, and this is very convenient. I've never owned a variable speed die grinder and I think I really like it. Worth every penny.
