Necklaces are strong and beautiful when they arrive. The problem for me was that I wore it to prom with a black Tahitian pearl pendant and by the end of the night the chain was almost black (the same color as the pearls!). I bought silver plated chains and not sure what it is just my skin type has caused it to change and look dull. I ended up throwing that necklace away and haven't used the others since. I don't know what to do with the rest. I don't even want to give them up if the same thing happens. Would definitely not buy them again.
