Review on πŸ› Moen LR8716D3CH Home Care 16-Inch Designer Bathroom Grab Bar with Concealed Screws, Chrome Finish for Enhanced Safety by Josh Ulrich

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well designed and decorated. I recommend, but ONLY if installed with long external screws in STUDIES on BOTH sides.

Outstanding handrail. I'm a picky buyer, so I analyze products very carefully. I am also 66 years old, I am a carpenter by profession. It's very ornate (make sure the finish of the rod matches that of your shower head, drain, etc. I don't care what the instructions say, you want to install this rod with at least 1 1/2" external screws) Screws in a bolt Vitally important Find out the most likely spot in the shower where you could slip This will determine whether to buy 1 or 2, how long the bar should be etc Now determine where where the studs are. with a decent stud finder. You do NOT want to be seriously injured or depend on flimsy snap bolts or any other type of picture hanging for your life. You know what I'm talking about. If the plank doesn't fit exactly horizontally or vertically, keep this in mind that you can run them diagonally The most important thing is that you use at least a 1 1/4 inch high quality, external (stainless steel) screw in the studs on both get pages. Forget the teachers here. You need at least 2, better 3 screws on both sides, now you know how many bars to order, what to order in the end and how long it will take. Finally, install the batten with plenty of good quality bathroom-approved caulk. You do NOT want water to get behind the grate and into the mounting hardware. Buy the clear type if the seal is visible. Don't skimp on anything. Your life is too important. I felt great relief when I showered after installing this pole. Total cost = less than $50 which is a small amount to have peace of mind.
