Review on πŸ”Œ IEUYO Universal Compact Wire Split Connector kit: No Wire-Stripping, Toolless T Tap Connectors for Quick Splice Wire Wiring (30Pcs, 5 Types) by Todd Look

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Haven't proved useful for the current project but haven't given up yet.

Bought these for a battery system with Anderson connectors and had a hell of a time with them. I tend to get by with most things, but as William F. said in his review, "I have a harder time getting the pens in the sinks compared to other versions I've used. I suspect Anderson's original design used beveled surfaces to guide the stylus' tip into the internal slot, while having square edges that require manual alignment to advance the stylus past the half-inserted state. I tend to agree as I finally learned how to make better use of pins by changing the internal passage. But instead of using this mod, I dodged a bullet in my current project by swearing in some interface connectors instead of switching existing interface system connectors to these. However, I am keeping these connectors to keep experimenting and hopefully finding something I will use/trust at some point.

Pros
  • 5. Easy to use. No stripping required, the electrical connectors have an innovative clamp design that eliminates the hassle of stripping, grinding and welding, you just need to insert the wire into these connectors and close the cover by hand. And if necessary, you can use pliers.
