Not Anderson, no connection to Anderson

This is clearly not Anderson. Not only does the plastic degrade, but the end of the metal doesn't bend down like Anderson does. I can't get her to hook up with any of the MANY real Andersons I have. That makes them useless to me.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No power

Will not fit together let alone Anderson

The quality of these connectors is very poor. Many of the plugs supplied do not fit. None of them fit any of my Anderson connectors. The hulls also don't slide in and out of the dovetails without a great deal of effort. Absolute waste of time and money.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Huge price

Excellent quality power poles

Excellent quality, makes connecting DC equipment much cleaner and faster. It should be noted that they are difficult to make without the appropriate special crimping tool. I didn't want to buy an electric terminal clamp because it seemed too expensive for something I only use occasionally. I was able to prep the connectors by first bending them into a rounded shape with pliers and then finishing with standard pliers. This leaves a messier curve and was harder to get into the case, but in theโ€ฆ

Just buy real Anerson power poles and save yourself the headache

I tried to save a few bucks but failed with these replica power poles. They do not come with pins to connect the red and black cases. The accuracy of the housings is very low as the black and white housings do not match very closely. If you try to stick a pin in the hole to hold them together, you'll find that the hole isn't the right size and the cases will fall apart and you won't be able to connect them to other Powerpole connectors. So they are basically useless. . I've never had a problemโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Safety

Seems exactly the same as Anderson's

I took a quick look at them and didn't see any difference between them and Anderson's milestones. Well, there is a cost difference. I usually buy some as a backup. , just in case I need to do some wiring that needs this type of connector. All my devices are wired like this. I think it's decent quality, although I've read several reviews that say otherwise. Some complained about the assembly and the inability to do it. Others have complained about the lack of a locking pin. The missing safetyโ€ฆ

  • Great overall performance

They fit real power poles but don't connect properly (side to side)

Genuine Powerpole connectors are amazing once you understand all of their characteristics. When creating a plus/minus pair, you can move the terminals together so that they form a block from left to right and then cannot be connected incorrectly. The original plugs can also be easily pulled apart (side by side) if the wires need to be separated. They are not manufactured with sufficient precision. I have found that I have to use pliers to dock them side by side - they slide almost all the wayโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 2. All connectors are reusable. The D2 connectors can be detachable.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Slightly different from the traditional Powerpole

Working jacks that will properly mate with jacks supplied by West Mountain Radio for example and presumably Powerwerx and Anderson. does not combine with those from other sources. Also, I find it more difficult to insert pins into bowls compared to other versions I've used. My guess is that Anderson's original design had beveled surfaces to guide the stylus' tip into the internal slot, while having square edges that required manual alignment to advance the stylus past the half-inserted stateโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 4th wire connectors are ideal for all vehicle, audio, video, speaker, LED strip installation and other electrical equipment. And it is also widely used for various household low-voltage, low-loss DC electrical connections.
Cons
  • Long Dispatch

Bought these for a battery system with Anderson connectors and had a hell of a time with them. I tend to get by with most things, but as William F. said in his review, "I have a harder time getting the pens in the sinks compared to other versions I've used. I suspect Anderson's original design used beveled surfaces to guide the stylus' tip into the internal slot, while having square edges that require manual alignment to advance the stylus past the half-inserted state. I tend to agree as Iโ€ฆ
