Every Christmas and Birthday I leave my sons delete games from their Xbox to make room for new ones. That won't be a problem anymore. At first I was blown away by how easy it was to set it up, literally just plug it in, click set up, and then decide if you want it to be your default storage option. THAT'S IT! Setup took less than 5 minutes. Then I downloaded three games and they took the data just as fast as the Xbox. I read several reviews complaining about slow transfer speeds but didn't notice any latency. I was also happy to see that it smoothly displays the new storage limits on the device. I was expecting the external drive to show up as separate storage, instead the available storage shown on the Xbox went from 22% to 74%. It's actually as simple as setting it up and forgetting it's there. Compared to other devices that cost 5x for the same storage, I can't think of anything that justifies the price difference.
