4 stars may not be enough but I have a reason. Bought this tripod for travel. I didn't want to carry a full size tripod (due to weight) and use it for night or low light photography. To that end, holding your tripod in low light worked. I was on the roof of the hotel imagining the Parthenon at night. The images were blurry until I brought the tripod to the table. Then the picture was sharp. When using this tripod I could not use it with legs in their minimum deviation. You also need to make sure that the vertical adjustment is very smooth at the desired height. This isn't a criticism, just something to keep in mind when using it. Would I recommend it to anyone, yes I would. Why not 5 stars? I am not satisfied with the camera mount. You have to make sure you have a coin to screw it to the camera. I didn't do it in one case and all the frames were one shot - too much vibration. You can leave a coin between the attachment and the tripod to make sure it's accessible. Happy shooting.
