I bought this fan to cool my Ryzen 5 2600 as Wraith Stealth wasn't enough. The Wraith Stealth idled at around 40°C and under load up to 75°C (outside the limits accepted by the community). Gammax on the other hand (combined with Kryonaut coolant) idles at 26C and hits 54C under load. Installation was painful, worst I've ever had. It's not really "compatible" with AM4. It doesn't have brackets to mount on a board other than Intel, so I hope you have the adapter parts. You also have to use a dangerous amount of force to mount the Ryzen board (if the mounts aren't loose and perfectly aligned, you could damage the CPU and damage the motherboard in the same case). As already said, the data sheet is a lie, it is much higher than advertised. I ended up just cutting holes in my case to fit, but most won't compromise and give it a try. As such, it's not suitable for standard cases (business scenarios, small form factor cases, all non-gaming/massive GPU cases). 7, although he is almost ten years old. If you are not afraid to hear that your motherboard is broken, do it, it works very well!
