Great product for feeding

Birds in my yard (Northeast USA) love this bird seed! Since we started, we have dramatically increased bird "trafficโ€. I especially recommend this to anyone who, like me, straddled the line between the casual bird watcher and the full blown crazy bird watcher (or man). Yes, it's time to take the plunge! You're a crazy bird now. Accept. Recently, for the first time in 5 years of living here, I put a bird feeder in the garden and bought seeds to fill it. A tit, black-eyed junco, house finch, song sparrow, wren, starling and white-breasted parakeet were sighted in the area within 7 days. They were either sitting on the feeding station or looking for food on the ground below. A few days later, a vocal blue jay and a pair of male and female cardinals began hanging out nearby. It's so much fun to watch and I like to think I'm helping these little ones get through the difficult winter months. Now my husband laughs as I stand in front of our living room window and look through the binoculars at the feeder. but I can't help it - there is so much to see. He told me that the next thing I would do was name them and adopt them, but I assured him that would be absurd and would never happen. I find it fascinating that all these birds find a way to live together! We have a resourceful squirrel that uses more than its fair share of this seed so I've had to refill quite often but I don't mind. In my opinion, this product is worth the higher price. Highly recommended. Also, don't tell my husband that the cardinals' names are Michael and Harriet.
