Review on PureComfort - Pillow with Ear Hole: Alleviate Ear Pain & CNH, Adjustable & CertiPUR-US Memory Foam Fill, 100 Night Trial by Christine Zuniga

I haven't used this for a whole week, but let me give you some constructive criticism. Being a foam product, it comes in a rather small rectangular box. Open it up and voila, it will soon swell to its full size. yes it smells No questions. I put it in the tumble dryer for 40 minutes on very low heat and added a scented cloth towel. When everything was finished, it was completely fluffed up and the fabric sheet somehow covered the smell. Now the smell isn't repulsively strong, but it is. The first night I had to work with the padding to get my shoulder deeper into the pillow because the hole is in the middle of the pillow. I suggest reducing the depth (from the headboard to the bottom of the pillow) of the pillow so people can put their ear through the hole. Otherwise, you may wake up to find your ear is under the hole. The hole in the cover is only on one side of the pillow. Another pocket attached to the bottom of the pillow allows the user to turn the pillow over and use that side. Finally pillowcases. Well, Scrooge went for the flash! It doesn't go through the entire end of the pillow. Removing and replacing the sleeve then requires a significant amount of effort, folding the pad in half to fit that very short zipper. After replacing, some force is required to place the pillow in the case, and then the filling is difficult to move. I'm not sure, but removing about half the padding might make it easier to put the pillowcase on, but then you've got a very weird foam that's more like balls of lint and it's going to go everywhere. I give myself time to get used to the pillow. I hope the manufacturers read my comments so they can refactor their product to make it more user friendly. The idea is great, but the product is still in the design phase, so you might want to postpone the order. I have only found one other company that makes a pierced ear cushion but they are in the UK. Your shipping will not be as fast as US competitor. Your design seems to have a looser pillowcase so it's easier to put on and take off. As I said, I'll give myself some time to see if I can adjust to this. I give it 4 stars as it is a unique product made in the USA otherwise I would have given it 3 stars.
