I received my thermometer today and when I sent it in it had no batteries. No problem, because we have batteries of all sizes in stock for these times. Anyway, I put in some batteries and it works right away. I take my temperature and it's low, I take my daughter's temperature and it's low. I immediately put our old digital thermometer under my tongue and take our temperature, and the temperature difference is 2.1. At first I thought I would have to send it back but let me read the instructions first. Learn how to calibrate and add 2.1 to any temperature check and now it reads the temperature perfectly! Quick and easy, repair was easy. I now have a thermometer for the upcoming holidays before anyone is allowed into our home! Great product at a great price!
