I am a 40 year old male and have always had acne since childhood. When I turned 20, I got cysts on my chin, nose and sides of my nose. Good times. Like most people I have flares when September/October rolls around. This year was particularly bad. Along with Onexton and Tazorac, my dermatologist gave him a 10% BP facial cleanser, which he charged me $40 for a 6-ounce bottle. It dried out my face in a few days. Also, my face got really red. So now I had a red face, shrinking cysts, and an empty wallet. Good times. I decided to try this cleaner because it was half the price I was hoping it would at least be a cheaper solution. Not only is it cheaper, but it's also much better than what I've used before. It's gentler but still gets the job done. I wash it 1-2 times a day, it dries me out a bit but not that much. My face never gets red and nothing burns. That led me to believe that maybe it was the lesser solution and maybe the active ingredients list was a lie. No, it's not like that at all. I use it 1-2 times a day and it works better on my acne than before with fewer side effects. I'm very, very happy with it. Full Disclosure: I received a complimentary bottle for writing this review. HOWEVER everything I said above is 100% true and consistent with my experience with this product. It really is that good.
