The STUPID instructions for this paper shredder!

I can't say much about this shredder yet as I've just received it and will update my review when I use it. What I can say is that there is the MOST IDIOTIC "instruction" regarding the CD/DVD/CREDIT CARD container. At first glance, you won't notice that this separate little container can hang directly under the CD slot on the large wastepaper basket flap. I hope you can see from the photo that the place to hang the basket is not obvious and it seems that if you tried to hang it on the door it would prevent the paper from closing. Wastebasket This renders the machine inoperable as you can only operate the shredder when the main collection bin is closed. The "Instruction Manual” suggests that the consumer place a small bin at the bottom of the large paper bin. That's completely stupid. There was no way CD/DVD/credit card snippets could get into this freestanding little bin that sits at the bottom of the large bin. However, the instruction manual states that the consumer should dispose of CD/DVD/credit card waste separately from paper. That makes no sense! I have noticed after careful observation, no thanks to the lack of instructions, that there are two tiny tabs at the top of the larger bin to attach the CD shredder bin, but it would be helpful and useful to put that information in the booklet . I give this shredder 3 stars for the stupidity of the instructions but will update when I use this machine. Hopefully the rest of the features are decent, but we'll see. Usage update: The grinder is quieter than others I've used in the past which is a plus. On the downside, when credit cards are shredded, the size of the shredded fragments is large enough that anyone interested in stealing information can read the credit card numbers and name. I suspect the notes will not be small enough to ensure privacy either.
