Excellent pen for projects. Works great for menu navigation, on one of the switches I had pressed the 'set' button a couple of times but the rest is fine hence one star. If it wasn't for that it would have been 5 stars all along. I didn't have the sticky joystick problem, just the set button and only on 1 of the 5 switches. I switched to another button because only one was needed after all the functions of the joystick. It's very handy to have a connector on hand that plugs directly into the breadboard. The board also has mounting holes so it can be added to the project box and jumper on the board. The pins are soldered on and this is a great deal, ready to use. It's easy to interface with any microcontroller (PIC/AVR/RPi/ESP32/STM/Arduino/etc), one side of all switches is connected to a common that can be connected to ground or height. I grounded the CPU's internal pull-up resistors and used them to pull the line low when enabled. You can also do the opposite.
