Review on Comfify Collapsible Kitchen Colander - 🍽️ Over-the-Sink Kitchen Strainer, Blue & Grey, 6-Quart Capacity by Brian Graham

We've been using this colander for 2 1/2 years now and it's great. It has enough space for everything we use to keep busy and I love how the handles slide out. However, handles have a problem in that the space they retreat into cannot be cleaned. I recently washed it and took the handles out all the way to wash it and black moldy dirt comes out. All 4 arms of the arms were. At the bottom of each page is a small strip of plastic that seals the compartment where the pens are kept. It appeared to be glued on, or at least not meant to be removed, but we took it off and it doesn't change how the buttons work. This gives us access to that area to make sure we can clean it thoroughly (the teenager and man in the house didn't know how to clean pens or we might not have had those issues). So, I think it's a small design flaw, but it's easy to fix by just leaving that little compartment open. Updated 10/26/21. After more than 4 years of frequent use, a crack has formed at the bottom of the strainer. New order.
