A good upgrade over vx1. The same reliable connection that gave me 0 drops or disconnects. The screen is nice but unusable for actual use. If you manage to smash strong enough to shatter the screen, all the features are just a click away and easy to remember. The case is made of plastic with a soft-touch coating. Feels good and quite thick. On one model I have a connecting cable to the screen that interferes with the wheel, it's easy to fix inside. I really liked the second model. But why do I need 2 models? Well, Flipsky doesn't offer interchangeable receivers, so I couldn't just buy a new receiver when mine got wet, I had to buy a brand new remote just for the receiver. The old one was paired so I didn't have to migrate my settings. So -1 star for not selling the receivers individually. In the DIY esk8 world, the most common mistake is insufficient impregnation. And unfortunately, this device doesn't seem to have a good protective coating or interchangeable receivers.
