nice size. Like any other detector, it is easy to assemble. However, when it comes to Wi-Fi, this device doesn't seem to connect or warn. I bought three of these and no one warned me about the app when I stumbled across it. None of them would be silent with the app. Not to mention my wife lit the smoking fire while I stood with the detector on top. I nearly choked on smoke within 50 seconds of the fire starting until this unit was shut off. (I hold my breath for 50 seconds and burn my eyes from all the smoke) So much smoke you couldn't see my hand the whole time. And yet my phone has not received any notification either by SMS or email. So basically I could install them, go on vacation, I had a house fire and I would never know until I went back to nowhere and heard how this thing works because I couldn't silence them through the app. The idea was that I could go on vacation and be notified in the event of a fire so I could call my neighbors to check on my house. This is a great idea, but it certainly takes some work. I am considering Nest detectors even though they cost almost three times as much as these little devices. However, according to a colleague, the Nest actually gets the job done and I can connect it to my Alexa and they can't.
